On Sunday 22nd February, 4 cadets from the squadron woke up incredibly early for a day of gliding. Arriving at the squadron at 0630 ready for their day ahead, the cadets were incredibly excited at the prospect of gliding for the first time. Once they had arrived at 615 vgs, it was time for a briefing. Then out on to the airfield, for a fantastic day of gliding that all cadets thoroughly enjoyed. The 4 cadets that attended from the squadron were, Corporal Keel, Cadet J. Stammers, Cadet Mallett and Cadet Rook. All of whom had a great day with Cadet Rook showing a very high level of apptitude for gliding and it was suggested that she apply for a Gliding Scholarship. A huge thanks must go to CI P. Whalan for taking the cadets.
